The FG9 is the flagship of the FG series, handmade in the Hamamatsu factory. The FG9 features an Adirondack spruce top, bolt-on neck construction, marquetry-style position marks, and a design inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship with its shimenawa-style binding and rosette.
This FG9R has a deeper sound. The Adirondack spruce top and rosewood sides and back give it the dynamics typical of a guitar, but it is not overpowering and sounds very supple. There is ample volume, but the bass is not overly boomy, and as the concept suggests, it accompanies the song. It also has a thick core and sustain, making single-note lead guitar work enjoyable. The smooth, stress-free playability of the guitar, combined with the lack of a cutaway, will make you want to play the guitar in the high position.
It is said that this guitar was designed for singing accompaniment, but it is a guitar that can be used for all purposes. The careful craftsmanship of the cutaway also makes you feel the craftsmanship that is typical of a made in Japan instrument. This is a gem that is not only a pleasure to play, but also a pleasure to own.

FG9は浜松の工場でハンドメイドされるFGシリーズのフラッグシップ。アディロンダック・スプルース・トップ、ボルト・オン・ネック構造、寄木細工風のポジション・マークやしめ縄風のバインディングとロゼッタという日本の伝統工芸にインスパイアされたデザインなど、ヤマハの新機軸を盛り込んだ製品です。
こちらFG9Rは音の深みを感じさせてくれます。アディロンダック・スプルースのトップ、ローズウッドのサイド＆バックのギターらしいダイナミクスを感じさせながらも、ゴリ押し感はなく、とてもしなやかに鳴ってくれます。十分なボリュームはありますが、低音がブーミーに鳴り過ぎることなく、コンセプト通り歌に寄り添ってくれます。芯の太さとサスティンをも持ち合わせており、単音でのリード・ギター・ワークも楽しめます。ストレスを感じさないスムーズな演奏性が相まって、カッタウェイがないにも関わらず、ついついハイ・ポジションまで弾いてしまいたくなります。
歌の伴奏用に設計されたということですが、オールマイティに使えそうな一本です。丁寧な作りに、メイド・イン・ジャパンらしいクラフツマンシップも感じさせてくれます。弾くだけでなく、持つ喜びも感じさせてくれる逸品。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
