Knaggs Guitars, the new importer of KORG from Ishibashi Gakki, has arrived at Ochanomizu Main Store!
The newest arrival is a wide, fat, heavily wooded Tier 1 grade maple top, Winter Solstice color, and Tune-o-matic specs "Kenai"!

Founded in 2009 by Joe Knaggs and Peter Wolfe, a branding and marketing specialist, Knaggs Guitars is a guitar shop that uses the finest woods and materials.

The woods and materials used are carefully selected and assembled by a team of experienced senior guitar builders using the best techniques in the industry to "create the finest instruments and provide the best tools to satisfy players and guitar enthusiasts alike".

This new arrival is a "Tier 1" grade guitar, which is considered to be the highest grade of Knaggs guitars, with carefully selected top-quality woods and parts, and lavish decorations.

This particular model is the "Kenai" model, which is particularly popular among Knaggs Guitars because of its parts configuration that is reminiscent of the so-called Les Paul.
The "Kenai" model is named after a city in Alaska. It is a solid single cutaway model representing "KNAGGS GUITAR," packed with the traditional charm of an electric guitar. In the Japanese market, the Severn has been the most popular guitar in the past due to its use by Japanese artists, but in fact, the Kenai has the highest sales record on a global scale, and is highly evaluated by users.

This model has the "Influence bridge" which is a combination of the tailpiece and the tune "O" matic type bridge, but the orthodox "Tune-O-Matic" bridge is used. The "Tune-O-Matic" bridge is used for this model, and there is not much difference in feeling when you change the bridge from LP type.

The body is made of top grade Tier 1 striped maple and back is made of mahogany.

All Knaggs Guitars' paints are hand stained with aniline dyes, a finish that accentuates the grain and grain (flamed and quilted), and the coloring is even more divine.

Mahogany is also used for the neck. The fingerboard is made of East Indian rosewood. The inlays are Morning Star inlays, giving the instrument an outstanding atmosphere.

Knaggs C With Slight V shape with a soft V shape in the low position that changes to a C shape toward the high position, a slightly wider nut width of 1-11/16 (about 43mm), and a 24.75" scale, following the Gibson style. The fretboard radius is slightly flat.

The fretboard radius is a little flat at 12 inches, placing this guitar in the middle of vintage and modern electric guitars.

The headstock design features the original shape that Joe used on his archtop guitars.

A set of "BARE KNUCKLE / The Mule" pickups are installed.

The BARE KNUCKLE / The Mule pickups are based on the '59 PAF and have a balanced frequency response, and while they are vintage-inspired, they have a moderate output that easily matches with modern equipment.

The Mule is not only beautiful in appearance, but also has a sense of harmonic separation, full overtones, a clear sound with a core, and rich sustain that only Knaggs guitars can offer.
