John Suhr's knowledge and technical skills, cultivated in various careers including Fender Custom Shop and Pensa Suhr, allow him to continue to produce guitars without compromise, which is his ideal.

The body and fretboard are Alder/Rose 60s style.
The joint is scooped from the cutaway to ensure playability at high frets.
Extreme heel cutting is avoided, and a four-point plate joint is retained to balance sound considerations and ease of operation.
The neck grip is Suhr's standard grip, Even C Slim .800 ? .880, with medium-sized stainless steel frets.
The fingerboard R is a compound 9"-12" inch.
The low frets allow for easy chord control and grip, while the high frets allow for more extension when choking, and the string height can also be set lower.

Next, let's take a look at the hardware.
The bridge is originally equipped with a Wilkinson brass 3-way saddle, but has been replaced with a 6-way saddle.
The thicker bass plate and block saddle give more thickness in the lows and more sustain in the mids, shifting to a more modern sound.
The octave pitch can also be easily and finely tuned.
The tuning pegs are equipped with Suhr's original locking pegs.
The pegs are designed with staggered peg post lengths for optimum tension on each string, eliminating the need for tension pins and contributing to tuning stability.

The pickups, the core of the sound, are equipped with WOODSHED pickups developed for Andy Wood's signature models.
In response to Andy Wood's strong desire for a vintage Telecaster sound, John Suhr rewound vintage pickups owned by Les Paul in the past and reproduced them from the winding pattern based on the data obtained.
The result is a telecaster tone with a wide range, responsiveness, and sharpness.
The tone balance is bright, yet not thin, and the control during lead playing is excellent.

Controls consist of a simple 3-way lever switch and 1 volume/ 1 tone.
The volume is controlled by a smooth taper circuit, which maintains a flat characteristic even when the volume is turned down.

It is also equipped with Suhr's proprietary SSCII hum noise reduction system.
While being a passive system that does not require batteries, it attenuates only the noise without changing the "stuffy nose" sound that is often associated with noise reduction.
The original SSC required extensive woodworking and basically stood as an expensive upcharge, but after version upgrades, it has become smaller and easier, and is now installed in almost all models with a single coil.

Minor scuffs and hardware tarnish can be seen.
The truss rod can be adjusted left and right, the frets are 90% full, and there are no problems with the neck in normal playing condition.
The neck has been cleaned and adjusted after arrival.
