We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 2010 EricClapton Signature Stratocaster by Senior Master Builder Todd Krause.
Todd Krause started his career at Charvel/Jackson in 1981 and joined Fender
He joined the Fender Custom Shop in 1991. In fact, he has built instruments for many famous musicians, including Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck.
He has been given the ultimate title of "Senior Master Builder," and while fulfilling his role as a master builder, he also trains and mentors future master builders.
This time we have an Eric Clapton Stratocaster made by Mr. Todd Krause.

The body is made of alder and one-piece maple, which is a royal specification for a Clapton Stratocaster.

The color is EC Gray, a popular color used by Mr. Clapton in the 2000s.

The neck shape is a relatively thin soft V with thin vintage style frets.
The neck is flamed, indicating that high quality wood was used.
The tremolo block is fixed with a piece of wood.

Vintage Noiseless PU is installed, and the controls are Master Volume, Master Tone, and Mid Boost.
The controls are not equipped with TBX control, which is the mainstream these days.
* The mid-boost model has a 9V battery in the back panel.

The tone control is excellent, allowing you to make up your own sound from backing to soloing.

The sound is well-balanced and comfortable, with a very good resonance, probably due to the high precision of the woodworking and the integration of the instrument by the master builder.

Overall, there are some minor scratches, dents, and pick scratches.
There are some rice grain sized dents scattered on the back of the body.
In addition, there are some dull metal parts and paint cracks on the neck pocket.
Also, there is a slight lift due to the 1-ply pickguard.
There are some paint chips and peeling on the fingerboard.

This is a master builder's top-of-the-line Clapton Stratocaster!

トッド・クラウス氏は1981年にシャーベル/ジャクソンでそのキャリアをスタートし、1991年からフェンダー
カスタムショップに加わりました。実際にエリック・クラプトンやジェフ・ベック等の著名なミュージシャンの楽器製作を数多く手がけています。
「シニアマスタービルダー」という究極の称号を与えられ、マスタービルダーとしての役割をこなしつつ、将来のマスタービルダーとなるべき人材の育成及び指導にもあたっている人物です。
今回入荷したのは、そのトッド・クラウス氏が手掛けたエリック・クラプトンストラトキャスターとなります。

アルダーボディ、ワンピースメイプルとクラプトンストラトキャスターとしては王道の仕様です。

カラーはECグレイで2000年代に本人も使用した人気のあるカラーです。

ネックシェイプは比較的薄目なソフトVでフレットは細めのヴィンテージスタイルの物が打たれております。
ネックにはフレイムが出ており、良質な材が使われていることが伺えます。
クラプトンモデルでは定番のノンフローティング状態でセットアップされ、トレモロブロックが木片で固定されているといった仕様でございます。

PUにはVintage Noiselessが搭載されており、マスターヴォリュームマスタートーン、ミッドブーストといったコントロールです。
コントロールはここ最近の主流であるTBXコントロール非搭載仕様となっております。
* ミッドブースト搭載モデルの為、バックパネル内に9V電池が入っております。

手元でのトーンコントロールに優れており、バッキングからソロまで手元でのサウンドメイクが可能です。

サウンドの傾向と致しましては、マスタービルダーによる制作で組み込みや木工の精度が非常に高い為かバランスが良くとても良く響く心地の良いサウンドでございます。

全体的に細かなスレキズ、打痕、ピック傷等がございます。
ボディバックに米粒大の打痕が点在しております。
その他、金属パーツのくすみ、ネックポケット部の塗装クラックがございます。
また、1プライのピックガードのためわずかに浮きがございます。
指板面に塗装痛み、剥がれがございます。

使用感等ございますが、マスタービルダー制作の最高峰の
クラプトンストラトキャスター！！
