This is a 1963 J-50. It is stamped J-50 ADJ BRIDGE inside the body, but has been replaced with a wooden bridge with a straight saddle on it. Moreover, the saddle slots have been re-slotted, and there are marks where the slots were filled between the current saddle and bridge pins. The bridge plate has been filled with wood where the bridge pins meet, but there is some deterioration of the wood (currently, it does not affect the use of the bridge). The bridge seems to be made of rosewood, but we cannot determine whether it is Brazilian or Indian.

The neck was slightly twisted when we received the guitar, so we had the neck shaved by our affiliated repair store. The nut, saddle, and frets were replaced at the same time. Two cracks on the lower back side of the 6th string were also repaired by the above repair store. The pegs have been replaced with Asian Grover Rotomatic pegs, and strap pins have been retrofitted to the heel of the neck. There is a dummy output jack on the side as if a pickup had been installed in the past.
Overall, there are dings, scratches, weather checks, chipped and deteriorated paint, chipped head edges, worn wood around the sound hole, and rusted and dulled metal parts, giving it the look of a well-trained, experienced player.

As mentioned above, the neck has been refretted and the neck has been corrected to the proper condition, so it is in perfect playing condition. As you can see from the appearance, it plays well. You can enjoy the rugged and powerful tone with vintage-like dry resonance. Recommended for those who are looking for a vintage Gibson in player's condition.
Comes with a relatively recent Gibson hard case.

「百戦錬磨のギブソン・ヴィンテージ！」

1963年製のJ-50です。ボディ内にはJ-50 ADJ BRIDGEの刻印がありますが、ストレート・サドルが乗った木製ブリッジに交換されています。しかも、サドルのスロットを切り直しており、現在のサドルとブリッジ・ピンの間にスロットを埋めた痕があります。ブリッジ・プレートのブリッジ・ピンが当たる部分に充て木がなされていますが、その充て木に僅かな劣化の発生が見られます(現状、使用に支障なし)。なおブリッジの材はローズウッドのようですが、ブラジリアンかインディアンかの判断はしかねます。

入荷時にネックに若干のねじれが見られましたため、提携先リペア・ショップにて削り修正をおこなっています。同時にナット、サドル、フレットの交換もいたしました。またバックの6弦側下方の膨らみ部分に二箇所のクラックも上記リペア・ショップにて修理いたしました(割れ止め有)。またペグがアジア製グローヴァー・ロトマティックに交換され、ネック・ヒールにはストラップ・ピンが後付けされています。過去にピックアップが取り付けられていたようで、サイドにダミーとなったアウトプット・ジャックが残されています。
全体に、打痕、引っ掻き傷、ウェザー・チェック、塗膜の欠けや劣化が見られるほか、ヘッドのエッジの欠けや、サウンド・ホール周囲の木部の摩耗、金属部品の錆やくすみも確認でき、百戦錬磨のツワモノの様相です。

上述の通り、ネックは適正な状態に修正済でリフレットもなされているので、演奏性は申し分ありません。見た目の印象通り、良く鳴ってくれます。ヴィンテージらしい乾いたレゾナンスとともに、ゴリゴリとした無骨で力強いトーンが楽しめます。プレイヤーズ・コンディションのヴィンテージ・ギブソンをお探しの方にお勧めいたします。
比較的近年製のギブソンのハード・ケースが付属します。
