There are cherry trees that bloom twice a year, once from October to January and again in April.
The winter blossoms begin to bloom a little at a time, and when they fall, they do not fall all at once like a snowstorm, but rather fade away a little at a time. The color of the blossoms is a pale pink.
Although they are the same cherry blossoms, winter cherry blossoms are slightly different from spring cherry blossoms, which bloom all at once and fall in a flamboyant manner, giving a subdued impression.

Inspired by the winter cherry blossoms, the winter limited edition model has appeared at the "ONE DAY GUITAR SHOW" every year.

And of course, this year is no exception: MJG-Fuyuzakura-'21WSE/E is now available!

This is the first winter cherry blossom model in the MJG lineup.
This model is the first MJG with winter cherry blossoms, which is not included in Momose's regular lineup, and is truly a limited model.

＜The design is reminiscent of a winter night.
Fingerboard inlay design
The design of the "One Day Guitar Show 2021" Winter Cherry Blossom model was inspired by a "winter night".
On the fingerboard, snow is falling from the head side to the body side.
The large design on the 12th fret is a winter cherry blossom frozen like a snowflake. The fine pink pearl inlay work is reflected on the jet-black ebony fingerboard, which resembles the night sky.

Generally, cherry blossoms have five petals, but the cherry blossom designed around the snowflake has six petals.
This is a variant of the so-called "four-leaf clover," and there is a legend that if you can find it, you will be happy.

Winter Cherry Blossom Coloring
The coloring of the Winter Cherry Blossom Model is based on the concept of collaboration between winter and cherry blossoms.
The most distinctive feature is the combination of the cherry blossom-colored central part of the body and white bursts. The body is finished with a matte finish to express the texture of snow.
The cherry blossom-colored central part of the body is colored to accentuate the grain of the cherry wood used for the top, allowing the unique grain of the cherry wood to be appreciated.

The hardware is gold-colored, which gives the guitar the solemnity of a winter night, and a glow as if reflected by the moonlight.

Acrylic pickguard in a custom-made color
The pickguard is also custom-made in blue to match the atmosphere of a winter night.
The shimmering pattern, like a cloud-like cloud or the surface of water, enhances the charm of the Winter Cherry Blossom model.

＜Mojotone pickups that bring out the edgy sound of the MJG.
Mojotone pickups are hand-wired pickups manufactured in North Carolina, U.S.A. Mojotone pickups are OEM pickups for over 250 brands, and are highly regarded for their vintage feel and individuality.

The "62Clone Jaguar" pickups on this model are reproduced from the early 60's specifications.
Coils are hand-wound on lacquered bobbins, Alnico 5 cast rod magnets, vintage spec heavy foam bar wires, and custom-made metal claws are used.
The neck pickup produces a loud sound with thick lows and clear highs, while the bridge pickup produces a sound with excellent power and attack.
