Debuted in 1978 as Boss' first distortion, it has become a worldwide standard distortion along with the OD-1.
This distortion has a sharp and sustain distortion, yet is still a quality distortion that can express the nuances of the player.
It has a wide range of tones, from mild distortion to sharp hard sounds.
It has been widely used by grunge, rock, and metal players alike.
This is serial #8200, MADE IN JAPAN, made in Japan.
It is a DS-1 with a large "-" in all square brackets, ACA specification, skeleton SW, and silver screws.
Very clean condition for its age. DS-1 in this condition may never appear again?

ボス最初のディストーションとして1978年にデビュー。OD-1と並び、世界の定番ディストーションとなっております。
鋭く、サスティンのある歪でありながら、プレイヤーのニュアンスを表現できる良質ディストーション。
トーンの利き幅も広く、マイルドなディストーションからシャープなハードサウンドまで音作り可能。
グランジ、ロック、メタル問わず幅広く愛用されてきています。
こちらはシリアル#8200、MADE IN JAPAN 日本製の個体です。
DS-1の「-」が全角で大きいタイプ、ACA仕様、スケルトンSW、銀ネジです。
年代の割にとてもきれいな状態です。この状態のDS―1はもう二度と現れないかも？？

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.

Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.

Please be patient while we do inter-company transfers on your items. The usual wait time for our shipping is 7 to 10 days worldwide. We are open from 10:00am until 6:00pm (Tokyo time zone)
