1968-69 ES-335TD Walnut in stock!

This is a late 60's ES-335 with walnut color finish.
Usually, the Walnut color starts in 1969, but the serial number is 917890, which is a 1968 serial.
We assume that this is a 1968 model that was finished in Walnut color in 1969.

The pickups may be late polywire numbered PAF or early polywire T-top.
The pickup covers have never been removed, so we have not been able to confirm this.

The body top is made of wild and dressy grained maple, and the back has some paint peeling from a belt buckle.
Both the top and back have weather cracks that show the weight of many years of use.

The neck is a narrow 3-piece neck.
The neck has been broken once, and has been glued and painted.
There is a slight bump on the gluing surface, but it did not spread when force was applied.

The parts are highly original, but the patent relief ABR-1 bridge saddle has been replaced.
Although there are some repair parts, the sound is still good and the instrument is still usable.

ウォルナットカラーのフィニッシュが特徴的な、６０年代後半のES-335
通常、ウォルナットカラーは1969年より始まりますが、シリアルナンバーは、917890と1968年シリアルでございます。
おそらく、1968年の個体に、1969年にウォルナットカラーのフィニッシュされたものと推測されます。

ピックアップは、後期のポリワイヤーナンバードPAF or 初期ポリワイヤーT-topの可能性がございます。
ピックアップカバーが、1度も外されていない為、確認できておりません。

ボディトップは、ワイルドでドレッシーな木目の、メイプル材が使われており、バックには、ベルトバックルで出来た、塗装剥がれがございます。
トップバック共に、長年使われてきた歴史の重みを感じざるを得ない、ウェザークラックが見えております。

ネックは、ナローネックの3ピースネック
1度ネック折れをしており、接着、塗装をしております。
接着面に少し段差がございますが、力を加えても広がりませんでした。

パーツ類はオリジナル度が高いですが、パテントレリーフABR-1ブリッジのサドルが交換されております。
修理箇所はございますが、サウンドも良くまだまだ使える一本となっております。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
