The "Jim Campilongo 1959 Telecaster", produced in 2011 in a limited edition of 50 pieces worldwide, is now in stock!

This Telecaster is based on the 1959 Telecaster used by Jim Campilongo, who is interviewed in this month's issue of Guitar Magazine as a modern Tele master!

Unfortunately, the certificate of authenticity is missing, but according to the dealer's website, it is an authorized import with the date "04-06-2011".

The guitar is not back-threaded, but top-loaded with exquisite tension, as it was made in 1959.
The pickups are handwound custom voice pickups by the original Abigail Ibarra, with Custom Shop foil capacitors.
The sides of the bridge plate have been cut off, as the bridge pickup is often used for picking just above the saddle.
The back of the neck is also an original design, as it is often used for bends between the pegs and the nut.

The neck shape is thin in the low position and becomes thicker in the high position. The fingerboard radius is 7.25 "R, and jumbo frets are used as on the original model.

The bridge saddle and strap pins had been replaced, but we replaced them with the same type.
There are some signs of use, such as a pickguard scratch, a small ding on the elbow, and a stand burn on the body end, but there is no major damage.

The neck is in good condition, and there is plenty of truss rod to spare.

2011年に世界50本限定で製作された「Jim Campilongo 1959 Telecaster」が入荷致しました！

今月のギター・マガジンのテレキャスター特集号にて、現代のテレ使いの達人としてインタビューが掲載されている「ジム・カンピロンゴ」が使用する1959年製テレキャスターをモチーフに製作された一本！

ロイ・ブキャナンを敬愛し、カントリーは勿論ジャズにも精通、ノラ・ジョーンズのバンド The Little Williesでも活動、テレキャスター一本で多彩なサウンドを生み出す職人の拘りが詰め込まれております！

残念ながら認定書が欠品しておりますが、ディーラー・サイトで調べたところ、正規輸入品でデイトは「04-06-2011」となっております。

1959年仕様の為、裏通しではなく、絶妙なテンション感のトップ・ロード仕様。
ピックアップはオリジナルのアビゲイル・イバラによるハンドワウンドのカスタムボイス・ピックアップを搭載し、カスタムショップ製のフォイル・キャパシターを採用。
ブリッジ・ピックアップを使用して、サドルぎりぎりでピッキングする奏法も多く用いるため、ブリッジプレートの側面はカットされております。
また、ペグ～ナット間でのベンドも多用するため、ネック裏の形状もオリジナルのデザインとなっております。

ロー・ポジションでは薄く、ハイ・ポジションにかけて段々と太くなるネック・シェイプ、指板ラディアスは7.25"Rで、オリジナルの個体同様にジャンボ・フレットを採用しています。

ブリッジ・サドル、ストラップ・ピンは交換されておりましたが、当店で同タイプに変更致しました。
ピックガードの弾き傷やエルボー部の小さな打痕、ボディ・エンドにスタンド焼けがあるなど、多少使用感はございますが、大きなダメージはございません。

ネックの状態は良好で、トラスロッドも余裕あり。
フレットも8割ほど残っているため、プレイ・コンディション良好な個体です。

ケースはノン・オリジナルですが、Fenderのツイード・ケースが付属致します。
