We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1982 Martin D-35.
The "D-35" was introduced in 1965, when the shortage of Brazilian rosewood used for Martin dreadnoughts made it difficult to produce two-piece backs.
This guitar was made in 1982 with a spruce top, rosewood sides and back, dreadnought body, non-scalloped bracing, ebony fingerboard and bridge, rosewood bridge plate, square rod, and mahogany neck.
There are scratches and dings throughout the body, and some repairs and parts have been done, including saddle replacement, bridge reattachment, binding reattachment, pickguard reworking, body top crack correction, neck reset, and peg replacement. There is a sticker mark on the back of the head, but there is no problem in use, and the entire body is still in good condition considering its age.
The neck is slightly bent in the forward direction, and there is some chattering from the 8th fret of the 1st and 2nd strings, but the guitar is delivered in its current condition. Although it is not recommended for high position playing, you can fully enjoy the square-rod Martin dreadnought sound for chord strokes and powerful cutting.
If you are looking for an 80's Martin and want to use it for accompaniment or stroke playing, this is the one for you.

1982年製、Martin D-35が入荷。
マーティン・ドレッドノートに使用されていたブラジリアン・ローズウッドの不足により、2ピース・バックが製造が困難であった時代に誕生した1965年発売の、"D-35"。
本器は1982年製でスプルース・トップ、ローズウッド・サイド&バック、ドレッドノート・ボディ、ノンスキャロップブレーシング、エボニー・指板&ブリッジ、ローズウッド・ブリッジプレート、スクエアロッド、マホガニーネック、の仕様。
ボディ全体を通して擦り傷、打痕が散見される年代相応の使用感があり、サドル交換、ブリッジ再接着、バインディング再接着、ピックガード再製作、ボディトップ割れ修正、ネックリセット、ペグ交換など、修理やパーツ交換も行われております。ヘッド裏にステッカー痕がございますが使用上問題は無く、年代を考慮してもボディ全体を通してまだまだ綺麗な状態を保っております。
ネックコンディションは、やや順反りで逆腰折れの症状もある事から、1・2弦8フレット以降からビリ付きが起こる個所もありますが、現状でのお渡しとなります。ハイポジションでの演奏にはオススメ出来ませんが、コード・ストロークや、力強いカッティングではスクエアロッド期のマーティン・ドレッドノートサウンドを十分にお楽しみいただけます。
80年代マーティンをお探しの方や伴奏・ストロークプレイでガンガン使っていきたい方などは是非。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
