We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 2012 Limited Model 1969 Reverse Head Stratocaster.
It is missing the certificate of authenticity, but has the neck date "JUN 05 2012".
The body is not dated, but has "10981543-1", "26624", and JC's signature.

This is one of the best Custom Shop guitars in the Fender lineup.
The model in stock is based on a 1969 Telecaster motif, and was produced as a limited edition model with the head reversed.

Alder is used for the body, and maple is used for the neck and fingerboard. The fingerboard is made of a different material, commonly known as "pasted maple".

The large head has a single string guide, which is a transitional specification between the 60's and 70's. The neck plate is not fixed at three points, but at four.
The neck plate is also a 4-point stop instead of a 3-point stop, and the stick-on maple fingerboard is also a spec that has a strong fan base.

At a glance, it looks like a JH spec, but the pickups are slanted as usual, and the rest of the neck is a normal 69 spec.

All pickups are gray bobbin. All pickups are gray bobbin, without maker's signature.
Front pickup cavity is marked "NOS". Center pickup cavity is stamped 10981543-1.

There are paint reaction marks on the back of the body and on the end of the body, which is a discoloration different from paint burn.
There are other signs of use such as scratches, dents, and paint burn, but the solid feel of use brings dignity to the guitar and elevates it to a tasteful look.

The guitar has been checked and overall adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.
