Martin M-38 made in 1993 is now in stock.

The M-38, released in 1977, is a model M with a 1-inch wider body than the 000 and 0M. The scale and body thickness are the same as the 0M, but the slightly wider body gives it a different sound quality from the dreadnought, 000, and 0M. This is a well-known Martin acoustic loved by players for its combination of the delicate sound of the 000 and the excellent response and depth of the Dreadnought.

This instrument has been repaired throughout the body with dents and scratches, cracks and gaps in the neck binding due to shrinkage, peeling paint, new bridge pins (wooden), bridge re-glued, pickguard re-glued, nut remade, neck reset, etc., all in keeping with the condition of the instrument and its age. The condition of the guitar can be said to be commensurate with its age. The neck is also slightly twisted and wavy, but the nut width is approximately 42mm, which is very playable and easy to grip, and the neck shape is generally in high playability condition.

This is one of the rare models with a sound and playability different from 000, 0M, and Dreadnought, so if you are interested in this model, please contact us as soon as possible.

1977年に発売されたM-38、000や0Mよりも約1インチ程ボディをワイドにしたサイズのモデルM。スケールやボディ厚は0Mと同様のサイズとなっておりますが、ボディ幅を僅かに広げる事でドレッドノートや000、0Mとは一味違うサウンドクオリティを魅せる一本。000ならではの繊細なサウンドとドレッドノートの優れたレスポンスと奥行きのあるサウンドを兼ね備え、プレイヤー達に愛される知る人ぞ知るマーティンアコースティック。

本器はボディ全体を通して打痕や擦り傷が生じており、ネックバインディングの収縮による割れや隙間、塗装剥がれ、ブリッジピンの変更(木製)、ブリッジの再接着、ピックガードの再接着、ナットの再製作、ネックリセット等、コンディションを保つ事も踏まえ修理が行われており年代相応のコンディションと言える状態です。ネックも僅かに捻じれ・波打ちが見られますが、ナット幅実測値約42mmという非常に演奏性が高く握り込みやすいネックシェイプも相まって、総じてプレイアビリティが高いコンディションを保っております。

000や0M、ドレッドノートとも一味違うサウンドとプレイアビリティを持つ稀少なモデルの一本である為、気になる方はお早目に。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
