Fender Stratocaster made in 1973 is now in stock.

The Fender Stratocaster was born in the 1950s and has been loved by many musicians around the world.

This 1973 Fender Stratocaster was made after Fender was acquired by CBS. It has a large head, truss rod adjustment from the head side, and a three-point neck plate.
The neck plate has a three-point fastening, and there are many other differences from the Fenders of the 1950s through the mid-1960s.
In the 70's, ash wood was often used for the body, and the one we have just received is also made of ash wood.

The neck date is stamped 22FEB73B, which identifies it as a B neck made on February 22, 1973.
There is a "NATURAL" stamped in red in the caddy of the center pickup on the body, indicating that it was definitely made in the natural color.

All pickups are gray bobbin with 73 date staccato hole pieces. The selector is a CRK 3-way, and only the volume pot is original (1377310).
The tone has been replaced and it is difficult to determine if the capacitor is original. The pickguard is believed to be original.

The button on the 4th string peg has a crack that has been repaired. Also, there are some marks on the back of the body where some woodwork has been repaired and some resin-like material has adhered to the back of the body.
The frets/nut have been replaced and the fret side has been dropped considerably. The strap pin hole on the cutaway side has been widened, and there are traces of personal repair work.

There is a strong sense of use overall, but this is a 70s guitar! This is a guitar that has been used and worn out.
It has a sense of solidity that can never be reproduced by processing.

The weight of about 3.26 kg, which is quite light for a 70s guitar, is also very attractive.
This is a guitar from the era that will especially stick out to those of the HR/HM generation. Please welcome this guitar as your own partner.

A recent Fender molded hard case is included.
