James Tyler Japan is the result of the same dedication to quality and sound that goes into the making of every James Tyler guitar, from the design data to the wiring materials and screws, all of which are the same as those used in USA-made James Tyler Guitars. The result is a guitar that produces a tone that is as great as any made in the U.S.A. There are some minor differences such as the scalloped neck side and the neck joint, but the response and range that responds to the picking nuance are remarkable.

The body of this model is made of carefully selected Quilted Maple for the top and Swamp Ash for the back. The rich middle and resonant sound of the body, combined with Tyler's signature fat and glossy sound, produces a well-balanced sound. The neck is also made of carefully selected Quartersawn Maple. The fingerboard is Ebony.

In addition, this is a popular specification commonly known as the "full option". The pickups are JAMES TYLER ORIGINAL PICKUPs in SSH layout. It is a very excellent pickup with clear response and good sound extraction.

Controls include a master vol, mid boost control, mid boost bypass switch, 5-way selector, direct switch for instant switching to the rear humbucker, and 3 series/parallel/tap switches for each PU. It boasts an ideal sound variation that can be said to be adaptable to any situation.

The condition of the guitar can be described as beautiful, with no signs of use, although there are some smudges on the gold parts. Naturally, there are no problems with the neck, and there is plenty of room on the rod. The playing condition is also good.

本機のボディには 、厳選したQuilted Mapleをトップ材に、バック材はSwamp Ashを採用。ミドルが豊かで鳴りが良いサウンドは、太く艶やかなタイラーならではのサウンドと相まってバランスのとれたサウンドを生み出します。ネックも厳選されたQuartersawn Mapleを採用。指板はエボニーとなっています。

さらにこちらは通称フルオプションの人気仕様。ピックアップには専用JAMES TYLER ORIGINAL PICKUPをSSHレイアウトで搭載。クリアでレスポンスが良く、音抜けの良い非常に優秀なピックアップです。

コントロールはマスターvol、ミッドブーストコントロール、ミッドブーストバイパススイッチ、5wayセレクターに瞬時にリアのハムバッカーへ切り替えが可能なダイレクトスイッチ、各PUのシリーズ/パラレル/タップのスイッチ3つを配置。あらゆるシーンへの対応を可能にしたともいえるまさに理想的なサウンドバリエーションを誇ります。

状態に関しては、ゴールドパーツにクスミなどございますが使用感はほとんど見られない美品とも言えるコンディションです。当然ネック関係も問題なく、ロッドにも余裕があります。プレイコンディションも良好です。
