Fender USA American Vintage II 1972 Telecaster Thinline 3Color Sunburst is now available used.

With a body shape, neck, and hardware configuration that faithfully reflects the specifications of the era, premium finishes, and pickups that have been voiced and detailed according to the era, this is the essence of authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone.

The second generation Thinline model, equipped with Wdie Range humbuckers at the end of 1971 and replaced by the distinctive curved pearloid pickguard, went into mass production in 1972. This model is perhaps most notable for being Fender's first Telecaster with a six-string humbucker and its first adjustable six-saddle bridge.

The American Vintage II 1972 Telecaster Thinline beautifully recreates the quintessential tone and feel of the original model produced at the time. 1972 "C" shape. The American Vintage II 1972 Telecaster Thinline, with its maple neck and 7.25" radius fingerboard with 21 vintage tall frets, evokes the playability of the instrument back in 1972.

To create an authentic Wide Range humbucker, the CuNiFe magnet, which had not been produced since 1981, was brought back as an essential element to reproduce the original sound.

Other features include a convenient Bullet-style truss rod nut located on the head, a 3-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt, F-logo tuners, and a 6-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge with bent steel saddles.
