However, in 2016, the Standard Historic was released, inheriting the specifications of the 2014 Historic Collection.This particular guitar features a beautiful grain pattern on the top that shimmers and changes depending on the angle. While it shows minimal signs of use, there is a slight paint crack on the side of the body. It does not appear to be peeling.There is a faint mark on the back of the body—not a scratch, but rather a mark that looks like it was caused by contact with a stand. The hardware shows some tarnish. However, overall, it remains in good condition and is a guitar we’d love to see continue to be played. The control knobs have the cracks common to instruments of this era, but there is currently no concern that they will break. The frets still have plenty of life left, and playability is not an issue.
