05-2800005453942
[SN 757723] USED Gibson / 1972 Les Paul Custom [05]
A 1972 Gibson Les Paul Custom has just arrived!!

This is a 1972 model with serial number 757725 and pot date 137721X.

It features a “pancake” body construction with a maple top and mahogany body, sandwiched with a thin layer of maple. The wood configuration consists of a three-piece mahogany neck and an ebony fingerboard. The Gibson logo on the headstock features a “closed o,” and the absence of a dot above the “i” is one of the most distinctive characteristics of this era. The neck has a volute design and is stamped “Made in USA.”

The neck joint is a short tenon. It is equipped with two sticker-numbered PAF (T-top) pickups. The embossed pickup covers are also characteristic of this era and look very cool.

The pots are from 1972. Although the year of manufacture is not visible on some of them, we have determined that they are all original. The capacitors are also original.

Replaced parts include the nut, some screws, and one knob. There are signs that the tuning pegs were once modified (with traces of additional pegs), but they have since been restored to their original configuration.

As for the condition, while there are some dents and scratches, the guitar is in good overall condition. Additionally, since this is a Fretless Wonder, the frets are set quite low, but playability—including the truss rod—is excellent. Please consider taking advantage of this opportunity.

* We sincerely apologize, but due to the nature of this item, we are unable to accommodate requests for pickup at other Ishibashi Gakki locations or for shipping.

Product Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use

Country of Manufacture: United States
Year of Manufacture: 1972

Serial Number: 757725
Case: Hard case / Non-original * Difficult to store due to extensive damage to the locks and other parts
Weight: 4.38 kg
Fret Wear: Approximately 50% or less
Truss Rod: There is room to tighten or loosen
Neck Condition: Good
Notes: The only included accessories are those shown in the photos.

* As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, or other imperfections not clearly visible in the photos or not listed here.
