This reissue model reproduces the use of this instrument when it was popular among hard rock guitarists in the 1970s and was first produced again.
The body is made of mahogany, and the novel body shape is the most distinctive feature of the Explorer. This model has unique specifications such as a single banana head, which is rare for Gibson. It has a bright and powerful sound.

The paint is thin and the topcoat has peeled off, leaving a satin finish.
There are stand marks on the back of the neck, rust and tarnish on metal parts, and fret wear, but there are no playability issues.

* Scratches and dents show signs of use, but are in good playing condition.

マホガニーを採用したボディにエクスプローラーの最大の特徴ともいえる斬新なボディシェイプ。ギブソンとしては珍しい片連のバナナヘッド等、特徴的な仕様を持ったモデル。パワーがありブライトなサウンドが魅力です。

現状、全体的に打痕や傷といった使用感が強く、塗装が痩せてトップコートが剥がれており、サテンフィニッシュのようになっています。
ネック裏にスタンド跡、金属パーツの錆やくすみ、フレットの消耗がありますが演奏性に問題はありません。

* 傷、打痕の使用感はあるが演奏上のコンディションは良好。
