This is an original VINTAGE GIANTBEAT, believed to have been made in 1974, from serial 412421/412444.

This series is currently being reissued, but it is also famous as the predecessor model before the 2002 series debuted, and was used by John Bonham in the early days of Zeppelin.

It is also a model from the period when they started to use the same B8 bronze as the 2002 series in earnest, and it has the sharp character and delicacy of Paiste with added energy and volume.

The hammering and surface treatment differs from that of the 2002 series, as if a special paint had been applied, giving the impression of a slightly calmer character than that of the 2002 series.

This piece has a slightly noticeable greenish-blue stain on the top.

This 15" hi-hat is thin and has good response.
It is characterized by delicacy and brightness, yet has a moderate sense of power, giving the impression that it is suitable for any genre of music.

It has some age-appropriate signs of use such as fingerprints, greenish blue, and scratches, but the edges are in good condition, and the sound is good with no deformation, distortion, or other damage.
The original Giant Beats, which rarely appear on the used market, are very rare!

シリアル412421/412444より、1974年製とみられるオリジナル VINTAGE GIANTBEATです。

現在は復刻版が出されている当シリーズですが、2002シリーズがデビューする前の前身モデルとして、ジョン・ボーナムがツェッペリン初期に使用していたこともまた有名なモデルです。

また、2002シリーズと同じB8ブロンズを本格的に使用し始めた時期のモデルで、パイステのシャープなキャラクターと繊細さにエネルギーとボリューム感を付加したようなキャラクターです。

2002とはハンマリングや表面の加工が異なり、特殊な塗料が塗られたような加工で、2002シリーズより少し落ち着きのあるキャラクターとなっている印象です。

こちらの個体はややトップの緑青染みが目立ちます。

15インチのハイハットですが、薄目でレスポンスは良好。
繊細さとブライトさが特徴でなおかつ適度なパワー感もあり、ジャンルは特に問わない印象です。

年代相応に指紋、緑青や擦り傷などの経年使用感はございますが、エッジの状態も良く、変形、歪みなどのダメージは感じられずサウンドも良好。
中古市場で殆ど出回らない「オリジナルのジャイアントビート」はとにかく貴重です！

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
