This is the signature guitar of "Jack Casady", the bassist of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, the acoustic blues unit of the 60's counterculture "Jefferson Airplane" and "Hot Tuna". This is the Jack Casady Bass, the signature Epiphone semi-acoustic bass of "Jack Casady", the bassist of "Hot Tuna", an acoustic blues unit that was active alongside "Jefferson Airplane" and "Hot Tuna".

Based on the LP Signature Bass, it has a maple semi-hollow body, mahogany neck, rose fingerboard, 34" scale, 1 x JCB-1 low-impedance humbucker PU, and Vol/Tone/3-Position Tone Switch. The guitar is equipped with a Vol/Tone/3-Position Tone Switch.

This model features a glossy natural bass tone, and the 3-position preset tone switch allows you to create a variety of sounds with a single mic.

The guitar shows some signs of use (scuffs, scratches, picking marks, buckle marks, metal parts/screws are cloudy and rusted, etc.).

The fretboard has been fretted, the bridge anchor has been installed, and the E logo has been re-glued when the guitar was first received. The originally low fretboard crests are high enough to play well, and the truss rod can be adjusted to ±60°.

ヘッド裏に「2ND」表記がある販売当時2NDだった個体。60年代カウンターカルチャーの申し子『ジェファーソン・エアプレイン(Jefferson Airplane)』、またそれと並行して活動していたアコースティック・ブルース・ユニット『ホット・ツナ(Hot Tuna)』のベースシスト『ジャック・キャサディ』のシグネチャー・エピフォンのセミアコ・ベース、ジャック・キャサディ・ベースです。

LP Signature Bassを基にした、メイプル・セミホロー・ボディ、マホガニー・ネック、ローズ指板、34”スケール、PUはJCB-1ローインピーダンスハムバッカー×1、Vol/Tone/3-Position Tone Switchを装備しています。

艶やかなナチュラル・ベース・トーンが特徴のモデル、1マイクながら3段階のプリセット・トーン・スイッチにより、多彩なサウンドを演出する一本です。

若干の使用感(スレや拭きスジ、引っかきキズ、ピッキング痕、バックル痕、金属パーツ/ネジ類の曇り・サビ、等々)が見られます。

入荷時にフレットすり合わせ・ブリッジアンカ－取付処理・Eロゴ再接着済み、元来低めのフレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
