This is a Fender Japan ST71-140YM MOD, the signature model of guitarist Yngvay Malmsteen, who has superb technique.

It features a basswood body, large-head, C-grip maple neck, trademark scalloped fingerboard, approximately 40mm brass nut, jumbo frets, 4-point stop joint with bullet truss rod cap, F-key pegs, and pressed saddle.

A scalloped fingerboard with jumbo frets for smooth fingering with a light touch makes this a highly finished instrument.

Replaced with Dimarzio clip-lock straps, PU changed to front Dimarzio DP217(HS-4)/center DP217(HS-4)/rear DP117(HS-3), Pot and knobs replaced and orange drop installed. Back panel is missing, overall the guitar has a lot of signs of use (color burn, body is not shiny, many dents and scratches on the outer edge, paint chips on the body edge, shine, ring marks and paint cracks on the back of the neck from playing, paint cracks and darkening at the joints, sticker marks on the head, bridge and pickguard, picking marks, buckle marks, metal marks, and metal marks). There are also some rusting on the head, bridge, and pickguard, and some rust on metal parts and screws.

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment) upon arrival.

The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten and loosen up to ±60°. There are some scratches and stains, but there are no problems with operation.

バスウッド・ボディ、ラージヘッドでCグリップのメイプル・ネック、トレードマークのスキャロップド加工が施された指板、約40mmのブラスナット、ジャンボフレット、4点止めジョイントにブレットトラスロッドキャップ、Fキーペグ、プレスサドルを採用しています。

軽いタッチでスムーズなフィンガリングが可能なスキャロップ指板にジャンボフレットを搭載した、高い完成度の一本です。

Dimarzioクリップロックストラップに交換、PUをフロントDimarzio DP217(HS-4)/センターDP217(HS-4)/リアDP117(HS-3)へ変更、Pot類とノブ類を交換・オレンジドロップ取り付けています。バックパネル欠品、全体的にかなりの使用感(色ヤケ、ボディにツヤがなく外周に多数の打痕や引っかきキズ、ボディエッジ塗装チップ、弾き込みによるネック裏ツヤ・指輪痕・塗装クラック、ジョイント部塗装クラック・黒ずみ、ヘッド・ブリッジ・ピックガードにステッカー痕、ピッキング痕、バックル痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・サビ、等々)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせ)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。

かなり傷や汚れなど使用感はありますが、動作に問題はありません。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
