It was only produced for about 5 years from around 1981, when K Zildjian's manufacturing base moved to the U.S.
This is a jazz ride from the early American K Zildjian period, the so-called "back K" period.

The hammering of this period is shallow, large and random, and the overtones are rich, dark, and deep.

It is a bit thin for a jazz ride, but with 2164 grams, the ping sound is quite grainy and cohesive.

The overall dullness, darkening, slight key holes, slightly rough edges, tape marks, and other signs of use and age commensurate with the age of the instrument, but the tone is good, there is no significant damage, and it is still in good condition for use without any problems.
This is a very rare piece.

Kジルジャンの製造拠点がアメリカに移った1981年頃から5年程度しか生産されていなかった
初期のアメリカンKジル、いわゆる裏Kと呼ばれる時期のジャズライドです。

この時期の物はハンマリングも浅めで大きくランダムで、倍音も豊かでダーク、深みのあるサウンドが特徴的です。

ジャズライドでやや薄目ですが、2164ｇある為、結構ピング音もしっかり粒立ち、まとまりの良いサウンドです。

全体的なくすみ、黒ずみ、僅かなキーホール、若干エッジざらつき、テープ痕等、年式相応の使用感、経年感はあるものの、音色も良好、著しいダメージは無く、まだまだ十分問題なくお使いいただけるコンディション。
非常にレアな1枚です。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
