This is a Music Man AXIS EX Gold made in Japan, which was manufactured in a designated factory in Japan using the same hardware as Music Man USA.

According to the catalog specs, it has basswood back, figured maple top (figured maple veneer/maple), maple neck with bird's eye, maple fingerboard, Dimarzio PU (front Dimarzio N2, rear Dimarzio DP155). Floyd Rose licensed tremolo.

This model is popular for its easy handling and exquisite sound, and is different from the USA model in that the PU selector is placed in the same position as the EVH model.

The back panel has been replaced with an ST model and screwed in only 3 places, and the strap pins have been changed to shearer-compatible type. There are some signs of use (color fading, minor scratches, paint chips around the outer edge of the body and under the bridge plate, paint peeling and gaps on the body on the first string side of the joint, scratches, darkening on the back of the neck from playing, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, PU coil tape color fading, cloudy and rusted metal parts and screws, etc.). The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough for playing.

Music Man USA製と同じハードウエアを用いて日本の指定工場で生産されていたミュージックマンの日本製AXIS EX・ゴールドです。

カタログスペックではバスウッド・バックにフィギアドメイプルトップ(フィギアドメイプルベニア/メイプル)、バーズアイの確認できるメイプルネックに貼りメイプル指板、PUはDimarzio(フロントDimarzio N2、リアDimarzio DP155)フロイドローズライセンストレモロを採用しています。

取り回しの良さと絶妙なサウンドで人気のモデル。PUセレクターがEVHモデル同様の位置に配置される等、USAモデルとは一味違った魅力ある一本です。

バックパネルをST用に交換し3箇所のみネジ留め、ストラップピンをシャーラー対応タイプに変更しています。使用感(色ヤケ、小キズ・当てキズ、ボディ外周エッジ部やブリッジプレート下部塗装チップ、ジョイント部1弦側ボディの塗装剥がれ・隙間、引っかきキズ、弾き込みによるネック裏の黒ずみ、スレや拭きスジ、ピッキング痕、PUコイルテープ色ヌケ、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・サビ、等々)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせ)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める側に＋60°まで動作確認済みです。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
