This is a Yamaha SG-800S with a built-in bi-sound system in the vein of the famous SG2000 that was introduced in 1976.

Maple top/mahogany back, mahogany neck with volute, rose fretboard, 2 open humbuckers (front: 800S 57.6.2 / rear: SG-800S 57.6.12), Push-Push on the Tone knob for bi-sound system (coil tap). The sound is sweet, glossy, tight, and long.

This Yamaha SG series guitar is characterized by its sweet, glossy, tight and long sustain, and is still in player's condition.

There are some signs of use (minor scratches and bumps around the perimeter, whiteness around the neck, head, and body, multiple dents on the back of the neck, picking marks, buckle marks, fogging and rusting of metal parts and screws, etc.).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, switch replacement) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod has been checked to less than half way to the tightening side (not much left).

1976年に登場した名器SG2000の流れを汲む、バイサウンドシステムも内蔵したヤマハ・SG-800Sです。

メイプルトップ/マホガニー・バック、ボリュート付きのマホガニー・ネック、ローズ指板、オープンハムバッカー×2(フロント：800S 57.6.2/リア：SG-800S 57.6.12)、ToneノブのPush-Pushでバイサウンドシステム(コイルタップ)になっています。

甘く艶やかでタイトなロングサスティンが特徴のヤマハSGシリーズ、まだまだ弾き込めるプレイヤーズコンディションの一本です。

使用感(外周に小キズ・当てキズ、ネックやヘッド周り・ボディ周りの白濁、ネック裏に複数の打痕、ピッキング痕、バックル痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・サビ、等々)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・スイッチ交換)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める側に半周以下ほどまで動作確認済み(残り少なめ)です。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
