This is a Yamaha CJ-8XE BL, an eleco-style Country Jumbo, made in 1982.

This model has a black body and white pickguard reminiscent of the YAMAHA "L-52" used by Paul Simon and others. Solid spruce top, birch sides and back, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, 2-way acoustic sensor type pickups and FET preamp.

Striking looks, the version with pickups is a Country Jumbo electric acoustic model also known for its use by Ryo Asuka (ASKA) of Chage & Asuka in the early days.

It shows signs of use (minor scratches, scratches and paint chips on the outer perimeter, scratches and scuffs, picking marks extensively around the sound hole, string press marks on the fretboard surface, buckle scratches, paint chips around the 3rd string peg screw on the back of the head, cloudy, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damages).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right.

印象的なルックス、ピックアップ付きバージョンは初期のチャゲ＆飛鳥の飛鳥涼(ASKA)氏の使用でも知られるカントリージャンボのエレアコモデルです。

使用感(外周に小キズやひっかきキズ・塗装チップ、スレや弾きキズ、サウンドホール周り広範囲にピッキング痕、指板面に押弦跡、バックル傷、ヘッド裏3弦ペグネジ周り塗装チップ、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ビッツ・サビ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは左右60度まで確認済みにて問題ない状態です。
