USED VG / VG-01R/VS (Vintage Sunburst) [2013]

This is the VG-01R, an all-solid L-00-style model from Terada Gakki, a company renowned for its high-level craftsmanship and OEM work for famous brands both in Japan and abroad.

It features a solid spruce top, solid rosewood sides and back, flame maple binding, a one-piece mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, a 25.4-inch scale, and Gotoh SGL-H.A.P.A. tuners with adjustable post height.

A favorite among many artists, including Masayoshi Yamazaki and Konosuke Sakazaki, this VG rosewood back and sides model is a ready-to-use instrument for both live performances and recording.

Signs of use are visible (including touch-up marks on the lower body, minor scratches and scuffs, wear and playing marks, picking marks, and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate smoothly up to ±60° and is in good condition (slightly tight).
