MOSSMAN GUITAR's Golden Era is in stock!
The first two digits of the serial number suggest that it was made in 1976.

This guitar was produced from 1960 to 2000.
The number of pieces produced was originally small, and only a few of them came to Japan, so it is rare to find them in the market.
The founder, Stuart Mossman, passed away in 1999, and the manufacturer itself was sold around 1990.
This Golden Era is one of MOSSMAN's higher-end models. The head has a gorgeous logo, the fingerboard has a tree of life, and the body and soundhole are covered with Avalon.
The top is made of spruce, the sides and back are made of rosewood, the fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony, and the neck is made of mahogany. The bridge plate on the back of the body top is rosewood.
The nut width is about 43mm in actual size with a slightly V-shaped neck feel, and the scale is about 650mm in actual size.
The 1.5 string pegs are equipped with USA-made Grover gold pegs, and only the 6 string pegs have been replaced, with different specifications (they are Grover).
The guitar itself has a special construction, with a bolt-on joint instead of a set neck. This may not be surprising due to the popularity and increased distribution of Taylor guitars nowadays, but it was difficult for people to understand the difference in the late 1960s, when the company produced these guitars. However, it may have been difficult to be understood by people in the late 1960s when it was produced as a manufacturer. However, it was used by country and bluegrass musicians such as John Denver at that time. It may be that first-rate musicians know what is good.
If you remove the inside of the body, you will find 6 pieces of back bracing. The back bracing on acoustic guitars is often seen with four braces, but this different specification gives a glimpse of the guitar maker's commitment to the guitar.
The calm tone and the well-defined sound are reminiscent of the music of the 1970s. This melancholy tone is great when played with chord strokes, but it also provides a tasteful effect that lingers even when played with fingerpicking.

There are some age-appropriate weather checks, scratches, and dents on the body in various places, but there are no fatal cracks in the wood.
The neck is in good condition and the truss rod can be adjusted.
The string height has been adjusted to about 2.4mm-2.5mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.9mm-2.0mm on the 1st string side, and is in good playing condition.
The saddle height is approximately 2.0mm on the 6th string side and 1.3mm on the 1st string side.
The nut has been raised by the previous owner, and the frets have been rubbed in our store, so there are no noticeable dents and the frets are still high enough.
The pegs are noticeably dull, but there are no problems with the tuners.
The pickups are German made SHADOW contact pickups, passive type.
There are a few scratches on the surface, but considering the age of the instrument, the overall condition is considered good. It is also in good playing condition, so we hope you will play it for a long time to come.
As mentioned at the beginning of this article, this is a rare guitar made in the U.S.A.
