Gibson Acoustics' Super Jumbo, the SJ-200, is in stock!
The back of the head is stamped 2017, meaning it is a 2017 model, but the serial number indicates it was made in 2016. It is common for other makers to have a one-year discrepancy between the number on the neck block or bracing and the year on the serial number.
This guitar is the largest of the Gibson acoustics, or even the largest of the acoustic guitars.
The top is made of citrus spruce, the sides, back, and neck are made of maple, and the fingerboard and bridge are made of rosewood. The maple used for the sides, back, and neck is flame maple with a solid stripe pattern.
The neck width is 43.8mm, the scale is 648mm, and the X-bracing construction is used.
The long scale, maple, and deluxe visuals are common with Gibson's Dove.
As for the exterior, as you can see, it is luxuriously decorated as befits a top-of-the-line model.
Crown inlay on the head top, ivory binding on the head and neck, and mother-of-pearl on the fingerboard. The mother-of-pearl fretboard, flower motif pickguard, and mustache bridge are all unique to the SJ-200.
Tuners are equipped with Grover gold pegs.
The pickups are of course top-of-the-line L.R. Baggs Anthems that can output a mix of piezo and microphone.
The SJ-200 has a percussive and crisp sound that is typical of the SJ-200. It is common to hear a sharp and sharp sound from this large body of the Super Jumbo. It may be resistant to feedback when a line is connected.

There are some very light scratches on various parts of the body, a slightly noticeable scratch of about 20mm x 3mm on the pickguard, and a noticeable paint reaction next to the pickguard on the top of the body, but there are no other major dents or fatal flaws.
The neck is currently bent at the high position, but the string height has been adjusted to 2.5-2.6mm on the 6th string at 12F and 1.9-2.0mm on the 1st string.
The saddle height is approximately 2.5mm on the remaining 6th string side and 1.0mm on the 1st string side.
The hardware pegs are slightly faded and dull on the knobs, but the base seems to be in shiny condition.
There are no noticeable dents on the frets, and there is plenty of height left.
This guitar is comfortable to look at and to display, and is highly desirable to own.
The beautiful tiger grain on the back of the body is also a must-see!

The truss rod can be tightened or loosened in both directions.

ヘッド裏には2017と刻印しておりますが、2017年モデルの意味で、シリアルナンバーからは2016年製になります。他メーカーでもネックブロックやブレーシングに書かれている数字とシリアルナンバーの年式が1年ずれていることがよくありますね。
ギブソンアコースティックの中で、いやアコースティクギターの中でも最大サイズとも言えるこちらのギター。
トップ材はシトカスプルース、サイド・バック材とネック材はメイプル、指板とブリッジはローズウッドといったウッドマテリアルになります。サイド・バック・ネックに採用されているメイプルはしっかりとした縞模様が入っているフレイムメイプルになります。
ネック幅は43.8mm、スケールは648mm、Xブレーシング構造になります。
ロングスケール、メイプル、デラックスなビジュアルといったことはGibson社のDoveと共通するとこでもありますね。
外観ですが、最上位モデルに相応しいご覧の通り豪華の装飾となっております。
ヘッドトップのクラウンインレイ、ヘッド、ネックにもアイボリーのバインディングを施しております。そして指板のマザー・オブ・パール、フラワーがモチーフのピックガード、ムスタッシュブリッジはSJ-200ならではですね。
チューナーにはグローバー製ゴールドペグを装備。
ピックアップにももちろん上位機種を、ピエゾとマイクをミックスして出力可能なL.R.BaggsのAnthemを搭載しております。
SJ-200らしいパーカッシブな、歯切れの良い鳴りを保有している個体です。この大きなボディからドカンと伸びのある音が出てくるのかと思いきや、スパッと切れ味鋭いサウンドを発するのはスーパージャンボではよく聞く話ですよね。ラインを繋いだ時のハウリングにも強いのではないでしょうか。

ボディ各所にごく薄い擦り傷、ピックガードに20mm×3mm程のやや目立つ傷、ボディトップピックガード横に目立つ塗装反応がございますが、その他大きな打コンや致命的なキズはございません。
ネックは現状ハイポジションで順反り(腰折れ、ハイ起き)になっておりますが、弦高は12F6弦側約2.5-2.6mm、1弦側約1.9-2.0mmに調整しており、プレイコンディション良好です。
サドルの高さは残り6弦側約2.5mm、1弦側約1.0mmとなっております。
ハードウェアのペグはツマミにこそやや褪色、くすみが見られるものの、土台は艶のある状態を保っているかと思われます。
フレットに目立つ凹みもなく、高さも十分残っおります。
見ているだけでも飾っているだけでも心地の良い、所有感も高いギターかと思われます。
ボディバックの美しいトラ杢も必見です！
