USED Gibson USA / 1993 ES-335 Dot Reissue Vintage Sunburst [10]

Gibson USA ES-335 in Vintage Sunburst, a royal and mature color, is now in stock! It was made in 1993.
Around 1981, ES-335 DOT with dot markers started to be reissued, but this one has a small tenon style neck joint (thin and slightly short)! The dot markers are slightly smaller in size and have a clear but distinct pearloid pattern! This type will become the current type in a little while, so it is a little rare! The pickups are 57 classic humbuckers with nickel-covered pickups, and the P.A.F. reissue decal on the back side of the bass plate is also beautiful! The string nut is also still original! Other parts are also in roughly original condition, but the pegs have been replaced with GIBSON Deluxe Green Key Tuner Set Vintage Nickel-Pearloid from GROVER102N, which was the standard spec at that time. The headstock is lighter by replacing it with this one, so it would be an upgrade if it fits the sound trend you are looking for perfectly! The control knobs at that time were black-colored top hat knobs, but they have been replaced with gold-colored embossed knobs, which are much cooler!

As for the exterior condition, there are some topcoat irregularities on some of the body surfaces due to the inner material of the genuine case. In addition, there are several chemical change marks on the paint film on the lower side of the body, which may have been caused by a simple guitar stand. There are also some buckle marks, rivet marks, scratches, and scuffs, but they may not be noticeable because of the rich and beautiful gloss of the paint film! And the gloss on the neck grip is dull but clean with no excess dirt. Also, there are scratches and dings on various parts of the head, but I think they are all minor. However, the paint film on the head is peeling and missing, which seems to be a symptom of the deterioration process often seen in lacquer coated heads from the late 80's onward. The metal parts are nickel-plated, so they look cool with the age-related smudges! The tailpiece position has been set high for a long time, and the TP studs are a little hard to turn due to the load over the years. Please understand that these conditions can be forgiven considering the fact that the instrument has been manufactured for about 30 years. The neck condition has been checked at our repair center, and the fret board has been filed and adjusted.

Neck condition is currently fine.
There is enough room for the truss rod.
About 60% frets remaining.
String height on the 12th fret: 6th string side: approx. 2.0mm, 1st string side: approx. 1.5mm
