Fender Custom Shop 1962 Jazz Bass Closet Classic / MH / Lake Placid Blue, made in 2013, is now in stock!

The Closet Classic is a fine example of the concept of "recreating the condition in which it was produced and stored unused at the time" and the fine detailing that has been executed. An alder body with a viscous midrange is bolted on to a maple neck with a slab-rose fingerboard. The 38mm nut width, 184mm fretboard radius, reverse winding pegs, and spiral saddle bridge are all elements that create a mild and familiar 60's sound. The cool blue color, 3-piece tortoiseshell pickguard, and matching head finish the look and feel of the instrument!

The guitar has been cleaned and set up at a repair store. The exterior has a few dings and paint chips, but there are no problems in use, and it matches the weather checks and hardware tarnish by Closet Classic!

Neck Condition: No major problems at present.
Truss rod has room to spare.
About 80% frets remaining.
String height on the 12th fret: 4th string side: approx. 2.5mm, 1st string side: approx. 2.0mm

”その当時に生産され、未使用のまま保存されていた状態を再現”という細かいコンセプトと、それを実行した見事なディティールを堪能できるCloset Classicを採用。粘りのある中域を備えたアルダーボディに、スラブ・ローズ指板貼りのメイプルネックをボルトオン。約38mmナット幅、約184mm指板ラディアス、逆巻きペグやスパイラルサドルブリッジなど、マイルドで親しみのある60年代サウンドを生み出す要素が凝縮されております。そこにクールなブルーカラーをまとい、3Pべっ甲ピックガードとマッチングヘッド仕様を組み込むことで、より色合いが全面に出され存在感を放つルックスに仕上がっております！

リペアショップにてクリーニングや全体セットアップが行われております。外観としては打痕やと塗装欠けが細かく点在しておりますが、使用上での問題は現状なく、Closet Classicによるウェザーチェックやハードウェアくすみと非常にマッチしており、決して悪い印象はございません！

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
