We have just received a clean and beautiful FENDER JAPAN ST57-TX 2T Serial#T055816!

The serial number says it was manufactured between 2007 and 2010, but the body date stamp is "2008.10.01", so it was made in 2008.
It is equipped with Fender USA Texas Special pickups and has an alder body (3P), so it is a "ST57-TX" 2 tone sunburst.
There is also a bold font stamped "MADE IN JAPAN" near the serial number!
The main parts seem to be original, but the tremolo arm is inch size, and the arm seems to be Fender USA Parts - American Vintage Stratocaster Tremolo Arms after 2000. (For some reason, the tremolo bridge unit may be "STEEL BROCK S8F VINTAGE inch steel block" mounted.)
The case is Fender Deluxe Molded Case, which can hold not only Stratocaster/Telecaster but also Lefty. It is a great value for the money!

The exterior condition of the case has some natural yellowing of the white resin parts (pickguard, control knobs, lever switch knobs, back cover, etc.) that may have occurred due to age-related deterioration, but the case may be clean and beautiful even though it has been 15 years since it was first manufactured and shipped!
The fingerboard paint is also dotted with toe marks and peeling paint, as seen on vintage guitars, which is cool!
The neck grip has a couple of light dents, but only two, so it's not a big deal!
There is also one noticeable ding on the 6 string side of the body, two rice grain sized dings on the back, and some pick marks and scratches on the pick guard, but considering the age of the instrument, the paint film has a beautiful sheen and there is little deterioration or smudging on the metal parts. The paint film has a beautiful luster and the metal parts are not deteriorated and there are not too many scratches.

The neck condition has been checked and adjusted at our repair center, and other parts of the neck have been inspected and adjusted.

Neck condition is presently fine.
Truss rod has room to spare.
About 80-70% frets remaining.
String height on the 12th fret: approx. 2.0mm, 1st string side: approx. 1.5mm

シリアルナンバーの製造時期は2007年から2010年頃らしいのですがボディデイトスタンプが『2008.10.01』なので2008年製の個体でございます。
スペックを考察致しますとフェンダーUSAピックアップのテキサススペシャルを搭載しててアルダーボディ(3P)なので『ST57-TX』の2トーンサンバーストでございます!
そして、シリアルナンバー付近には太めのフォントのスタンプで『MADE IN JAPAN』の表記もございますよ!
それから、主要パーツは粗方がオリジナルと思われますがトレモロアームはインチサイズが適合しててアームは2000年以降のFender USA Parts - American Vintage Stratocaster Tremolo Armsとなってるみたいです。(何かの理由でトレモロブリッジユニットは「STEEL BROCK S8F VINTAGEのインチスチールブロック」がマウントされてるのかもしれません)
また、付属のケースはフェンダー･デラックス･モールド･ケース(Fender Deluxe Molded Case)で、ストラトキャスター/テレキャスターはもちろん、レフティ仕様も入っちゃう万能タイプ。お得感マシマシとなっております!

外観コンディションホワイト系の樹脂パーツ(ピックガードやコントロールノブやレバースイッチノブや裏カバーとか)に経年劣化で発生したと考えられます自然な黄変がございますが製造完成出荷時から15年目を迎えた個体なのに清潔美品かもしれません!
また、フィンガーボードの塗膜にはビンテージギターで見掛けるような爪先の痕跡や塗膜剥離が点在しててカッコイイです!
そして、ネックグリップに薄めの凹み跡がございますがふたつくらいなのでクリビツです!
それから、ボディの6弦側サイド面に若干目立つような打痕がひとつとバック面に米粒大の打痕がふたつくらいとピックガードにピック痕やスクラッチキズもございますが製造以降の経年期間を考えますと塗膜には美しすぎるような光沢がありますし金属パーツの劣化やクスミも少なめな傾向なので総体的には優良なレアコンディションかと!
