This is a Kent Island Facility era model, but the handwritten date inside the body is dated 1995, so it may be possible to consider that the production started at the Virginia Avenue Factory and the finished product was shipped to Kent Island Facility! Since this is the period before the introduction of the PRS Mod Cat system, which controls the product specs, the grade and other notations are handwritten on the bottom of each PU cavity. The pickups are PRS Dragon Pickups, which were the original specs of the Custom 22 at that time. The control wiring is also in original condition, and there is no trace of solder tampering! The parts also look to be in original condition! However, since this is a used instrument that is 28 years old, there are scratches from playing, small and shallow dings and dents with paint damage, which may give it a classy damaged look! However, there are no noticeable buckle marks on the body back, so you won't find any flashy damage! The luster of the finish color has not faded and the color is mature, so you can feel the beauty of the detailed damage! Perhaps, it has been carefully played without neglecting maintenance! Also, there are some age spots on the metal parts and light corrosion on the components of the wing locking type pegs (PRS Original Locking Tuners), as well as some signs of age deterioration on the exterior and inner parts of the attached OHC, but considering its age of over 27 years, we think these can be forgiven.
