2022 Custom Shop made 59ST in Super Faded Surf Green!

The Vintage Custom series pays homage to the original Fenders, with many specifications that were adopted at the time of release but were soon changed, and many rare specifications that can only be found in the prototype stage. This is a new series of Fender Custom Shop, which produces models with excellent functionality while inheriting the tradition.

This is a Custom Shop-style '59, the first year of the rosewood fretboard, with a vintage tone, but with a twist.
The body is 2pcs Alder with a firm tone, which is the best combination with the Rosewood fretboard.
The coloring is "Super Faded Surf Green," which is green or almost blue. Flashcoat lacquer is used to achieve natural resonance, rich sustain, and warm tone from the thin finish. The fact that it is NOS-spec is also not to be overlooked.
The neck base is 60-style, with a maple rift-sawn wood. The neck base is 60 style with a maple rift-sawn wood. The fingerboard is a slab board, which all Strat players have longed for. The fretboard has a compound radius of 7.25" to 9.5", giving it a vintage feel in the low position and a slightly more modern style in the high position. The neck shape is "59 Esquier C", which is slightly thicker in the high position, and the fret size is "Medium Vintage", which is based on 6105 but finished a little lower.
The PU is an original "HW 59 Strat". The DC resistance is about 5.5k, 5.7k, and 5.7k from the neck side, which is based on the vintage tone. The vintage players will be happy to know that this is not a trendy RWRP specification. Also, the control is a 5-way, 1vol, 2tone specification, which is a traditional control that does not allow rear PU tone control.
There are no other gimmicks on the hardware and it is a straight-ahead vintage style model except for the neck area.

There are some scratches on the body and some minor picking scratches on the pickguard. The top of the body is slightly tarnished. There is a scratch on the right side of the body. There is a small sesame seed sized ding on the side of the jack plate and a slight paint crack on the upper left side of the neck joint plate due to tightening. The hardware is in good condition with no noticeable use or damage.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. There are no string marks on the frets and about 90% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

2022年カスタムショップ製、スーパーフェイデッドサーフグリーンの59ST!

Vintage Customシリーズでは発売当初には採用されていたが直ぐに変更されたスペックや、試作段階でしか見受けられないレアな仕様が多く存在するオリジナル･フェンダーに敬意を表し、伝統を継承しつつも機能性に優れたモデルを製造するフェンダー･カスタム･ショップの新機軸といえるシリーズ。

こちらはローズウッド指板のファーストイヤーである59年をカスタムショップ風にヴィンテージを基調としつつもアレンジを加えた一本。
ボディはアルダー2pcs。コシのあるトーンが特徴で、ローズウッド指板とベストなコンビネーションをみせてくれます。59年の過渡期の仕様を再現する為か50sスタイルのコントロールキャビティルーティングを再現するなど、ボディベースは56年タイプとなっております。
そのカラーリングも『Super Faded Surf Green』としており、グリーンというかほぼブルー。フラッシュコートラッカーを採用しており、薄めのフィニッシュから繰り出される自然な共振、豊かなサスティンとウォームなトーンを実現。何気にNOS仕様という点も見逃せません。
ネックベースは60スタイルで、木取りはメイプルのリフトソーン。とは言いつつもカスタムショップらしい高級感溢れる木取りを見せてくれております。また指板は全ストラトプレイヤー憧れのスラブボード仕様。その指板面は7.25インチから9.5インチのコンパウンドラディアス仕様で、ローポジションはヴィンテージフィール、ハイポジに向け少々モダンなスタイルとなっております。ネックシェイプはハイポジで少しだけ肉厚な印象の『59 Esquier C』としており、フレットサイズは6105を基調としつつ少し低く仕上げた『Medium Vintage』の採用も見逃せないポイントです。
PUはオリジナルで『HW 59 Strat』を搭載。直流抵抗値はネック側から約5.5k、約5.7k、約5.7kとしておりヴィンテージトーンを基調。流行りのRWRP仕様ではないのでヴィンテージプレイヤーには嬉しい限り。またコントロールは5way,1vol,2tone仕様でリアPUトーンコントロールはできない伝統的なコントロールです。
その他ハードウェアにも特にギミックはなくネック周り以外はストレートアヘッドなヴィンテージスタイルモデルといえます。

ボディには拭きキズがあり、ピックガードには薄っすらと細かいピッキングキズがあります。ボディトップは僅かですが色焼けしております。ボディサイド右クビレ部分には線キズがあります。ジャックプレート脇にはゴマ粒大の小さな打痕があり、ネックジョイントプレート左上脇には締め付けにより薄っすらとわずかに塗装クラックがあります。ハードウェアには目立つ使用感やダメージはなく良好なコンディションです。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能です。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは9割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.0mm、1弦側で約1.5mmで調整されております。
