We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 2019 Taylor 914ce V-Class with V-Class Bracing specs.
It may be the premium dignity of the details and materials of each part spec, such as the Grand Auditorium body size, armrest, Venetian cutaway, etc. of the 900 series, which is positioned as the highest peak in the regular lineup.

This is a unique V-class bracing construction invented by master builder Andy Powers by evolving X bracing, so it is a bracing construction method that converts flexibility and stiffness into good volume and sustain.

The ES2 (New Expression System) pickup system is characterized by a sensor placed on the bridge pin side of the bridge saddle, which amplifies acoustic resonance with a natural sound image.
The ES2, which consists of this sensor and a Taylor Professional Audio Preamp, is said to be capable of faithfully outputting the tone and response of a Taylor guitar. Also, the controls are simple, consisting of volume, treble, and bass, so perhaps the operation prioritizes an intuitive sense of playability. (Please refer to the ES2 manual for the intuition behind the midrange control.)

As for the condition, it is almost unused condition, so it is beautiful and clean.
However, since it is a second hand (used/used) item, you can see a shallow and thin bruise on the edge of the ebony used for the outer material of the 1st fret binding on the 1st string side, but it may be due to the wood surface fabric since it is made of natural ebony wood. However, since it is a natural wood, we feel that it could be made less noticeable with a steam-like repair method and finishing treatment. (This is a separate project with a charge that requires consultation with the repair client.)

マスタービルダーのアンディパワーズがXブレーシングを進化させ考案した独自のVクラスブレーシング構造なので、柔軟性と剛性を良質なボリュームとサステインに変換するブレーシング工法です。

ピックアップシステムのES2(ニューエクスプレッションシステム)は、ブリッジサドルのブリッジピン側に配置されるセンサーによって、アコースティックな響きをナチュラルな音像で増幅するサウンド感が特徴でございます。
こちらのセンサーとテイラープロフェッショナルオーディオプリアンプで構成されたES2は、テイラーギターのトーンやレスポンスを忠実に出力可能らしいですよ。また、コントロールはボリューム、トレブル、ベースのシンプルな構成なので、直感的なプレイ感覚を優先する操作性なのかもしれません。(ミッドレンジコントロールの勘所につきましてはES2マニュアルを参照くださいませ)

コンディションにつきましてはほぼほぼ未使用コンディションなので美品で清潔さがハンパないですよ。
でも、セカンドハンズ(ユーズド/中古)のお品となりますので、1弦側1フレットバインディングの外側材に用いられたエボニーのエッジに浅くて薄い打ちキズのような痕跡が確認できますが、天然木材のエボニー製なので木肌生地の都合上かもしれません。でも、天然木材なのでスチーム的なリペア工法と仕上げ処理で目立たなくなる可能性も感じられます。(リペア依頼先と要相談が必要な有料の別案件となります)
