USED Gretsch / 6120 Nashville 1990 Orage Stain [11]

This 1990 Gretsch 6120 Nashville model embodies a royal rockabilly tone.
Since its introduction in the 1950s as Chet Atkins' signature model, this famous instrument has attracted many guitarists with its bright orange finish and sparkling tone.
The laminated maple body with full-acoustic construction is combined with a maple neck of moderate thickness for classical specifications. The quick rise of chords and the unique sound with a sense of air are unique to this series.
Equipped with a Bigsby tremolo unit, it flexibly responds to playing with vibrato.
The entire tone has the sparkling overtones typical of Gretsch, and it can be used for a wide range of applications, from clean to light drive. This is a versatile instrument that can make its presence felt not only in country and rockabilly, but also in blues and pop music.
This early 90's Nashville has all the charm of the long-time favorite 6120 series. This model is a must-see for Gretsch fans, combining traditional style with a unique sound.
The body shows some scuffs and dings, and the pickguard has minor scratches from picking. The metal parts have some dulling and peeling of the plating, and the guitar looks like it has been used for a certain period of time. There are minor scratches on the back of the neck and the paint is peeling, but none of these affect the playability. There is a crack on the pickup bezel due to the tightening of the mounting screws, but this is probably due to age. The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions, although it is a little stiff.
Considering the age of the instrument, the overall condition is good, and the instrument can still be used without major damage.
