An authentic banjo that combines lightness and power
The Deering Goodtime Special, manufactured in California, USA, is a higher-end model of the company's popular "Goodtime" series equipped with a patented steel tone ring.
It combines a clear and powerful attack with extended sustain, and has a strong presence in a variety of styles, including bluegrass.

The body is made of 3-ply maple rim and the neck is also made of rock maple, providing excellent rigidity and response despite its light weight.
The resonator version produces a more sparkling and penetrating sound, and the powerful tone does not get buried in ensembles.

We recommend this banjo as a step up from beginner models, as well as for those who are looking for an American-made banjo that will be with them for a long time.
There are scratches, stains, and other signs of use.
The neck is twisted and wavy, and the height of the first string is high.
There are no major problems with the playing condition.

Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.
