This model was created on the advice of Ted McCarty, who was once the president of Gibson and was involved in the development of Les Paul. The pickups were also developed especially for this model. The McCarty Treble/Bass pickups were developed especially for this model. This pickup is also based on the vintage sound motif and is recommended for users who seek a calm tone.
The neck and fingerboard are made of rosewood, which has rich overtones and a clear tone profile different from mahogany and maple.
The top maple is 1st grade or 10Top grade, which means that it is the best of the 10, and is packed from the center to the edges.
Since 2000, PRS has been active in the hard and heavy band sound, and this McCary, inspired by vintage guitars, is one of the most atmospheric guitars.

The head tip is chipped and there are several dents on the neck grip, but they do not affect the performance. There are many deep dents scattered around the perimeter of the body, and large and small paint chips on the sides and back of the body. The pegs have been replaced with GOTOH locking pegs, the nut has been replaced with an oiled ox bone, the escutcheon is discolored, and the metal parts are dull. The strap pins have been replaced with locking ones, but the strap side parts are missing. The instrument has been used a lot and there is a lot of damage, but all parts have been maintained and cleaned, so playability is not a problem. One of the locks on the hard case is broken, but this is not a problem for storage or transportation.

かつてギブソン社の社長を務め、レスポールの開発にも携わったテッド・マッカーティ氏のアドバイスにより生み出されたモデル。CUSTOM22や24よりも厚みのあるボディにワイドファットなネックシェイプによって他のPRSモデルに比べ、よりオーソドックスでトラディショナルなサウンドとなっております。ピックアップもこのモデルの為に開発された、その名もMcCarty Treble/Bassを搭載。こちらもヴィンテージサウンドをモチーフとしており、落ち着きのあるトーンを求めるユーザーにオススメです。
当機はネック/指板にローズウッドが使われており、マホガニーやメイプルとは異なる豊かな倍音、ハッキリとした音の輪郭が特徴で、クリーントーンはもちろんオーバードライブやディストーションサウンドでも非常に心地良いサウンドを奏でます。
トップのメイプルは1stグレード、または10Topグレードと言われる上質杢を使用しており、10枚の中で最も優れた杢の意味が表すとおり、センターからエッジまでビッシリ杢が詰まっております。
2000年以降、ハードでへヴィなバンドサウンドで大活躍しているPRSですが、ヴィンテージギターをモチーフとしたこのMcCaryも趣き深い1本と言えます。

ヘッド先端が欠けており、ネックグリップに複数の打痕がございますが、演奏上影響はございません。ボディ外周部に深めの打痕が多数散在しており、ボディサイドやバックに大小の塗装剥がれがございます。ペグがGOTOHのロックペグに交換、ナットがオイル漬けの牛骨に交換されており、エスカッションが変色、金属パーツにはくすみが見られます。ストラップピンがロック式に交換されておりますが、ストラップ側パーツは欠品しております。かなり使い込まれておりダメージは多いですが、各部メンテナンス・クリーニング済みでプレイヤビリティは問題ございません。ハードケースのロックが一つ破損しておりますが、保管や運搬上問題はございません。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
