This is a Thunderbird bass from ORVILLE, a popular Japanese-made Gibson.
The Thunderbird is a bass version of the famous electric Firebird, and like the EB-3, it retains its strong popularity even today because of its innovative style.
The body and neck are made of mahogany, based on the original model, and the "2 humbuckers" and "scratch plate emblem" are as perfect as the original, showing the high quality of Japanese manufacture from that time.
It has a characteristic sound with a heavy bass tone, smooth attack, and long sustain.

* The neck is slightly high, so the string height has been adjusted a little higher after rubbing.
There are some minor scratches, chips, dents, and metal tarnish.

国産ギブソンとして人気であった「ORVILLE」のサンダーバードベースです。
エレキで有名なファイアーバードのベース版がサンダーバードとなっており、その斬新なスタイル故にEB-3と同じく、現代でも根強い人気を保っています。
ボディとネックはマホガニー材、オリジナルのモデルをベースにしており「２ハムバッカー」「スクラッチプレートのエンブレム」もオリジナルと変わりない完成度になっており、当時からの日本製の質の高さが伺えます。
ズシッとくる低音の重厚感と、スムースなアタック感、長いサスティーンをもつサウンドが特徴的な一本です。

* ネックが若干ハイ起き気味の為、擦り合わせ後に弦高を少し高めに調整しております。
細かなキズ・欠けや打痕、金属のくすみなどございます。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
