This is the SG Special Reissue Gloss Cherry Pilot Run, an off-catalog model produced in limited quantities prior to the 2019 Custom Shop specification changes.
As stated on the back of the head, this is a pilot run (prototype) model.
What makes it different from the regular model is that the fingerboard is made of Bolivian rosewood (Perferro).
The hardwood Bolivian rosewood (Perferro) is characterized by its crisp attack and clear sound.
It is the best match for the edgy sound character of the SG Special.
The sound is even more appealing.
The body is made of high-quality mahogany, carefully selected by the Custom Shop, and painted with aniline die, giving it a very atmospheric look.
The neck joint and fingerboard are glued using nikawashi, which provides a thinner and stronger gluing surface.
This allows the entire guitar to resonate without losing any of the all-mahogany sound.
The guitar is equipped with P-90 pickups, a wrap-around bridge, and a small pickguard, recreating the specifications of the early 1960s.

There are minor signs of use such as minor scuffs and scratches.

2019年のカスタムショップ仕様変更に先駆け、限定生産されたカタログ外モデル「SG Special Reissue Gloss Cherry Pilot Run」です。
ヘッド裏に記載されているように、パイロットラン(試作機)モデルとなります。
どこが通常モデルと違うかというと・・・指板にボリビアンローズウッド(パーフェロー)を採用しております。
硬質な木材であるボリビアンローズウッド(パーフェロー)は、キレのよいアタックとクリアなサウンドを特徴としております。
SGスペシャルのエッジィなサウンドキャラクターにはベストマッチ。
よりいっそう魅力的なサウンドを聴かせてくれます。
ボディにはカスタムショップで厳選された良質なマホガニーボディ、さらに塗装はアニリンダイを使用し、非常に趣のあるルックスに仕上がっております。
ネックジョイント、指板の接着にはニカワが使用されており、より薄く強固な接着面を実現。
オールマホガニーの鳴りを余すことなくギター全体に響かせてくれます。
P-90ピックアップをはじめ、ラップアラウンドブリッジにスモールピックガードと、1960年初期の仕様を再現しております。

細かな擦り傷など軽微な使用感あり。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
