This is Gretsch's 6040MC-SS.
This is Gretsch's signature Synchromatic series of acoustic archtops, which has been passed down from generation to generation since the 1940s.
This model was only listed in the catalog for a period of time in the 1990s. The 17-inch spruce top with the characteristic cat's eye soundhole, maple sides and back, maple neck, art deco parts and various parts design are the same as the regular lineup, but what makes this one special is The cutaway body is mounted with Filtertron pickups and a special pickguard. This is a Gretsch jazz guitar that can be played on stage through an amp.

It shows signs of use, including slight dings on the fingerboard, buckle scratches, scuffs, and dings.

1940年代から脈々と受け継がれるGretschのアコースティック・アーチトップの看板、シンクロマチック・シリーズです。
本器は1990年代の一時期のみカタログ掲載されていたモデルで、特徴的なキャッツアイ・サウンドホールを持つ17インチのスプルース・トップ、メイプル・サイド＆バック、メイプル・ネックにアールデコなパーツや各部デザインは通常ラインナップ同様ですが、こちらが特別なのはカッタウェイ採用のボディにフィルタートロン・ピックアップがマウントされ、合わせて専用のピックガードとなっている点です。ステージでアンプから鳴らせるグレッチのジャズギターです。

指板に僅かな凹み、バックルキズ、擦りキズ、打痕など使用感が見られます。
