Pickups
The rear pickup is a DiMarzio Billy Sheen signature pickup.

Body
As before, the body is made of alder, which is known for its well-balanced warm midrange, and the splined joint system used on the new BB #2000 and #1000 is employed.
The effect of the splines connecting the center where the strings pass through and the two sides of the body allows the body to accurately transmit string vibration energy to the entire body with excellent vibration characteristics similar to a one-piece structure, even though it is a three-piece structure designed to withstand environmental changes.
