The "Brora" Over Drive is the third E.N.T EFFECTS overdrive and is intended to be the flagship model of the brand.

While inheriting the know-how of the first "AOD" and the second "Shin-uchi", the "Brora" Overdrive was completed as a model that aims to create a completely different tonal dimension.

As the design of the Brora suggests, this pedal is based on three concepts: "Reinterpretation," "Authentic," and "New Generation.

In other words, this pedal is not an overdrive pedal with a variable sound quality, but rather a pedal that respects existing pedals and aims to reproduce the high sound quality envisioned by E.N.T. The pedal was created based on the concept of reproducing the sound quality of existing overdrive pedals.

The Brora is a pedal that has a tone that does not belong to any of these categories, but rather encompasses all of them.

The circuit is very simple.

The structure is a two-circuit operational amplifier with the first stage used as an amplification stage for gain and the second stage used as a tone circuit, and it was made with a clear and direct sound in mind.

However, because of the simplicity of the circuit, the constants of the components had to be set severely.

We started with a needle's eye study to determine the values of resistors and capacitors, and by carefully setting the constants, we succeeded in obtaining a sound quality as an overdrive that has never been achieved before.

The result is a shimmering tone from low to high frequencies.

Brora has a wider range than existing overdrives. This not only improves the sound quality, but also allows the sound to be created in a way that maximizes the characteristics of the guitar or amplifier being used.

The Brora is as faithful to the original sound as a transparent pedal, yet it has a characteristic TS-like middle feel and the high resolution of the E.N.T. brand.

The OP, which is the heart of the pedal, uses the LT1361 high-speed operational amplifier. The circuit is optimized so that you can feel the straightforward yet bity sound that only a high-speed op-amp can deliver.

Volume : Since a B-curved pot is used, the volume is flat with the original sound at 10 o'clock to 12 o'clock. If you use this unit as a booster, slightly increasing the Drive will increase the volume.

Drive : The gain is moderate from 5 o'clock to 13 o'clock, and is amplified sharply from 14 o'clock. Gain may oscillate depending on the environment, so adjust the gain accordingly.

Tone: This control is based on the 5 o'clock position (LEVEL 0). The tone circuit mainly adjusts the high midrange. As the tone is turned up, the gain is slightly amplified, giving a bouncy midrange feel.

This product is powered by a 9 VDC power supply. Use a stable AC adapter or 9V batteries.

Use the AC adapter when connecting multiple effectors. (If only this unit is battery-powered, noise may occur depending on the compatibility of other effectors.
