A 414ce with a difference has just arrived!

This is a 414ce made in 2006 with Hawaiian Koa-like wood on the sides and back, but there is no indication on the label that it is a limited edition. Usually, side and back are finished in gloss, but this 414ce has satin finish and ES1 pickups, which were the standard specification at that time.
There are some heavy picking marks, scratches, and dings on the top, and the side of the bass string has a few dings where the paint is missing. There are some small dents on the edge of the head, light rust on the metal parts, and some spots on the satin paint on the back of the neck. The back has remained relatively clean compared to the top, indicating that it was probably played sitting down.
The neck is in perfect condition, with around 70% of the fret height remaining, and both playability and sound are perfect. The sound is also very koa-like, with a clear sound with good compression and fast response. Although it is an old type, it can still be used in practice. This is one of the best priced and in player's condition.

「一味違う414ceが入荷しました！」

サイド＆バックにハワイアン・コアらしき材が採用された2006年製の414ceですが、ラベルにはリミテッドなどの表記はありません。通常サイド＆バックの仕上げはグロスですが、当個体はサテンで、ピックアップは当時の標準仕様であるES1が採用されています。
トップには豪快なピッキング痕、引っ掻き傷、打痕が散見され、低音弦側のサイドには塗装が欠落した打痕が少々目立ちます。ヘッドのエッジには小さな打痕、金属部品には軽い錆、ネック裏のサテン塗装にはてかりも確認できます。トップと比較するとバックは比較的綺麗な状態を保っていることから、座って演奏されていたのでしょう。
ネックの状態は申し分なく、フレットの高さは7割前後残っており、演奏性、サウンドともに申し分ありません。コンプレッションが効いた、レスポンスの早い明瞭なサウンドもコアっぽいです。旧タイプとは言え、十分今でも実践でお使いいただけます。お求め易いプライス、プレイヤーズ・コンディションの一本。
