Emmons Double Neck!"

Emmons was founded by Buddy Emmons, the pioneer of the E9th chromatic tuning of pedal steel guitars, independent of Show Bud. Emmons was twinned with Show Bud as the two major brands of pedal steel.
This model has a 10-string double neck (E9th and C6th tunings), 8 pedals, and 6 knee levers. The D pedal is used to lower the E9th 5th string E and 6th string G# by one note, and to raise the C6th 6th string E by a semitone. The semitone raising of the 4th string of the C6th and the 8th string A, which is usually done with the D pedal, is done with the right side of the two LKRs. This is a little irregular setup.
The year is unknown, but probably from the 80's or 90's. The pickups are humbuckers. It features humbucker pickups and Gotoh rotomatic pegs.
There are some scratches, rust, and fogging on the metal parts, but nothing noticeable. The instrument has been professionally inspected and adjusted, and is ready for immediate use.
The tone is stable and the mechanism has no rattles, as you would expect from Emmons. If you are serious about pedal steel, you need a pedal steel of this class. We recommend it.
We have a staff member who plays pedal steel guitar. If you are a beginner, we can give you a lecture on how to play (by appointment only). Please feel free to contact us.
