The Jason Richardson Cutlass is the latest collaboration between the award-winning Music Man design team and versatile guitar player and composer Jason Richardson. Specially designed to bring out the best in his technical playing, the innovative design combines unique features and aesthetics to create a one-of-a-kind presence.

Based on the Cutlass, this model is more playability-focused, with his attention to detail in the horn shape, cutaway depth, neck shape, custom pickups, and more.

The top wood is Jason's trademark burst-colored Buckeye burl.
The back is made of alder, which gives it a low center of gravity sound with peaks in the mid and low tones.
The neck is made of roasted maple, whose adoption has exploded in recent years. The heat treatment crystallizes the sap and removes excess water, resulting in overwhelming stability, durability, and a vintage feel. It is shaped very thinly for excellent playability.

The pickups are custom-made to match the material of the guitar and Jason's playing style. Each note is well articulated even in complex chord work, fast playing, and sweeping.
The controls include gain boost and coil tap, allowing you to create a wide range of sounds with a single instrument. This model is perfect for those who play technically as well as sonically.

Condition
There is a deep scratch on the lower right side of the body and some dullness on the hardware!

Cutlassをベースに、ホーンの形状、カッタウェイの深さやネックシェイプ、カスタムピックアップ等々、細部にわたって彼のこだわりが見受けられるよりプレイアビリティに特化したモデルとなっています。

トップ材にはジェイソンモデルのトレードマークであるバーストカラーのバックアイバールを採用。
バック材にはアルダーを使用していることもあり、ミッド・ローにピークを持った重心低めのサウンドです。
ネックには近年爆発的に採用率の増えたローステッドメイプルを使用。加熱処理により樹液の結晶化、余分な水分を除去することで圧倒的な安定・耐久性、そしてヴィンテージフィールな鳴りを実現しました。かなり薄くシェイピングされているのでプレイアビリティも抜群です。

ピックアップはギター本体のマテリアルとジェイソンのプレイスタイルに合わせカスタムされたものを搭載しており、低音寄りではありますがブーミーになり過ぎない絶妙なバランスのサウンド。各音の分離感も抜群で複雑なコードワーク・速弾きやスウィープでも1音1音しっかりと発音されます。
コントロールにはゲインブーストやコイルタップも搭載しており、一本で幅広いサウンドメイクが出来ます。サウンド面でもプレイ面でもテクニカルなプレイをする方にうってつけなモデルです。

コンディション
ボディ右下にやや深めの引っかき傷、またハードウェア部分にくすみがございますが、使用感比較的少なく美品です！
