'70s D-18 that sounds and looks great, with blue case!

This D-18 was made at a time when the folk boom was in full swing and everyone was yearning for a Martin. It features a non-scalloped, non-forward-shifting brace. At the time, the D-18 was often overshadowed by the D-28, D-35, and D-45, but its reputation grew over the years as it was favored by studio musicians and technical players for its sound extraction, and for its good volume that accompanies singing.
Although dents, scratches, abrasions, and paint deterioration can be observed, it can be said that it maintains a relatively good appearance considering its age. The neck angle was adjusted, refretted, the saddle was replaced, and the pickguard was reupholstered at our affiliated repair store. The nut was replaced when the guitar arrived at the shop, and the height was adjusted with shims at the same time. The pickguard has had the surface painted, and the finish is close to the original appearance. There are no Martin cracks, and the bridge plate is slightly deteriorated, but this does not affect its practical use. The pegs have been replaced with Grover Rotomatic pegs made in recent years.
The sound and playability of the instrument are perfect. It plays well. The non-scalloped bracing gives it a thick core, but there is no leanness, and the resonance is light. The resonance is light. The mahogany tone is sweet, soft, and crisp.
The accompanying blue case is in relatively good condition, with rust, dirt, and signs of use commensurate with its age, but there are no missing parts or distortions. Recommended by the person in charge who has owned Martin for more than 40 years.
