We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1974 Precision Bass with a darkly burnished Olympic White color!

The body is dotted with white, which is probably close to the original color, and the neck pocket, slightly exposed grain on the surface, and weight suggest that it is probably made of Alder wood. There are no traces of refinishing, etc., on the paint, and we judge it to be original. The neck is a 1pc maple neck, which is typical of the 70s. It has been over-lacquered, refretted, and re-nutted in player's condition.
The truss rod was broken at the time of arrival, so it has been replaced with a new one. The nut has tarnished screw holes, but there are no operational problems at this time.
Regarding the electrical system, the volume pot has been replaced. The tone side pot is marked "137-7429" and is believed to be original. The jack has probably been replaced, although we cannot be sure due to its deterioration. Pickup is marked "192574". This pickup is also probably original.

The sound is characterized by the roundness and warmth of alder maple. The mellow low sound that envelops the whole sound brings up the delicious sound of the plebe. Currently, nickel wounds are applied, but it might be interesting to put flat wounds on it.

In addition to the looks that suggest it has been with the player for many years, it has been refretted and is in excellent playing condition. Please consider this opportunity!

色濃く焼けたOlympic Whiteが風格を醸し出す1974年製Precision Bass が入荷いたしました！

所々に元のカラーに近いであろうホワイトが点在するボディは、ネックポケットや表面に若干露出している木目、重量などから恐らくアルダー材と推察しております。塗装はリフィニッシュ等の痕跡は見当たらず、オリジナルと判断しております。ネックは70年代らしい1pcのメイプルネック。こちらはオーバーラッカーが施されており、リフレット、リナット済みのプレイヤーズコンディション。
また入荷時点でトラスロッド折れが確認できましたため、新しく入れ直しております。ナットのネジ穴がなめてしまっていますが、現状動作に問題は見られません。
電装系に関しまして、ボリュームPOTは交換されております。トーン側POTには「137-7429」の表記があり、こちらはオリジナルと思われます。ジャックは劣化具合から断定ができませんが、恐らく交換されているものと思われます。ピックアップには「192574」の表記。こちらも恐らくオリジナルと思われます。

サウンドはアルダーメイプルらしいカラッとした明瞭さを持ちつつも、ギラリとしすぎない暖かな丸みが特徴です。サウンド全体を包み込む芳醇なローがプレベらしい美味しいところをグッと引き上げてくれます。現状ニッケルワウンドが貼られていますが、フラットワウンドを張ってみても面白いかもしれませんね。

長年プレイヤーと連れ添ったことが伺えるルックスに加え、リフレット等プレイコンディションも抜群に仕上がっております。この機会にぜひご検討くださいませ！
