The Special Semi-Hollow consists of a H-S-H (hum-"single"-ham) pickup layout with a 58/15 LT treble and bass pickup and a narrow-field pickup in the middle pickup. The narrow-field pickups are used for the hum pickups, and the hum-"single"-ham pickups are used for the bass pickups. The narrow-field pickups reduce hum noise while providing the bite of a single-coil sound and a clear, powerful sound that can be carried through ensembles.

Combined with a 5-way blade switch and a mini-toggle switch for the 58/15 LT coil split, you get 12 different sound variations to fit any genre. The tone control can be turned down for a fat, sweet sound, or opened up for a shimmering sound, offering a wide variety of sound changes.

Other specs include a maple top, mahogany back, 22-fret & 25" scale mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, Phase III locking tuners, and a PRS original design Gen III tremolo unit. The semi-hollow body construction with f-holes gives the guitar's tone a pleasant air and depth, while reducing the volume difference between humbuckers and single coils.
Condition
The guitar is in beautiful condition with relatively little signs of use, although there is some tarnishing on the bridge and other parts. Of course, the neck, frets, truss rod, and all other playing-related conditions are in perfect condition.
The instrument has been fully adjusted and cleaned at our repair center when it arrived, so you can use it with no worries.
