It was manufactured around 1926–27. This particular instrument has undergone numerous modifications, including the removal of auxiliary keys, filling of holes, replacement of the thumb hook, retrofitting of a strap ring, installation of cork on the palm keys, and modifications to the side keys. It gives the impression of having been modified for ease of playing, and I believe its playability has been improved as a result.I believe you’ll enjoy a sense of expansiveness and a floating quality not found in modern instruments. While there have been some modifications to the bell, I think it’s in good condition considering its age.
