2012 Grestch G6119-1962HT Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose

"Made in Japan".

Body is laminated maple with dark walnut color and simulated f-hole paint.
Neck is 3-piece maple construction
Equipped with Bigsby
Medium scale
Rosewood fingerboard

Hilo'Tron pickups mounted
The Hilo'Tron is a humbucker pickup with a pole piece on only one side, eliminating the noise characteristic of single pickups.
Simply put, it is a combination of a humbucker and a single pickup, but because of this structure, it produces a wide bandwidth from high to low frequencies.

The controls are as you would expect from Gretsch, with a volume control for each pickup, master volume, and a 3-position tone switch, allowing for a rich variety of sounds.
A standby switch is provided for MC during live performance.

This model is still very popular and easy to handle, although it may give a strong impression of being used by someone overseas or in Japan.

The top and back of the body have minor scratches, minor dings and dents, and the outer edge of the body is painted with a small amount of paint.
There are some minor paint peeling on the outer edge of the body.

ピックアップは、Hilo’Tron をマウント
ハムバッカー構造でありながら、片方のみポールピース仕様にしており、シングルピックアップ特有のノイズを無くした、シングルピックアップとなります。
簡単に言えば、ハムバッカーとシングルピックアップのいいとこ取りですが、その構造の為、高音域から零音域まで幅広い帯域を演出してくれます。

コントロールはグレッチらしく、各PUボリュームコントロール、マスターボリューム、3ポジション・トーンスイッチとバリエーション豊かなサウンドが得られます。
Live中MCの際に重宝する、スタンバイスイッチ完備

やはりこのモデルは、海外のあの人とか、国内のあの人の印象が強いと思いますが、モデル自体、非常に扱いやすい人気の機種でございます。
